Microsoft 365 Message center provided a weekly digest of Microsoft service updates from June 16, 2025, to June 22, 2025.

Major updates include the retirement of support for SharePoint Framework Field Customizers in Lists and Document Libraries, and a limit on the number of users or groups that can be added to workspace roles in Fabric and Power BI.

Microsoft Outlook for Mac will retire the admin preference to switch to legacy Outlook starting mid-August 2025.

Microsoft 365 Copilot will no longer pre-install the Visual Creator agent starting mid-July 2025.

The Researcher agent in the Microsoft 365 Copilot Prompt Box will be generally available starting July 18, 2025.

Microsoft 365 will update default settings to enhance security by blocking legacy authentication protocols starting mid-July 2025.

Microsoft Entra ID will expand the passkey authentication methods policy to support passkey profiles in public preview starting mid-October 2025.

Additional updates include enhancements to Microsoft Teams, Microsoft Copilot, Microsoft Defender for Office 365, Microsoft SharePoint, and Microsoft PowerPoint.

Important dates include mid-August 2025 for Outlook for Mac changes, July 18, 2025, for the Researcher agent availability, and mid-July 2025 for security updates.
