Microsoft 365 Message center provided a weekly digest of Microsoft service updates from June 16, 2025, to June 22, 2025.
Major updates include the retirement of support for SharePoint Framework Field Customizers in Lists and Document Libraries, and a limit on the number of users or groups that can be added to workspace roles in Fabric and Power BI.

Limit on number of users or groups that can be added to workspace roles in Fabric and Power BI
MC1098946 | June 19 – Microsoft Fabric will limit workspace roles to 1,000 users or groups from August 1 to August 31, 2025. Overlimit workspaces can’t add more users/groups until under the limit. Admins should consolidate access and use provided APIs to manage workspaces. View more
Microsoft Outlook for Mac desktop: Retiring the admin preference to switch to legacy Outlook
MC1098932 | June 19 – Microsoft Outlook for Mac will retire the admin preference to switch to legacy Outlook starting mid-August 2025. The New Outlook will become the default for users in the Current Channel, and switching back to Legacy Outlook will be disabled by mid-October 2025. Microsoft 365 Copilot: Visual Creator Agent will no longer be pre-installed

Microsoft 365 Upcoming Secure by Default Settings Changes

Changes to case creation process in Purview portal when confirming alerts from Defender XDR portal
